My latest poetry book In the Vicinity of Riches has just been published, just in time for COVID-19, and the cancelation of everything, including my book tour. Luckily, there’s the Internet. I’ve posted a virtual book tour on YouTube:

In the Vicinity of Riches
See you on the other side.
The Academy of American Poets gave me a prize. (Not bad for a Canadian?) Here’s the poem on Poets.org:
“The Green Garden Hose”
I’m the lone poet amongst visual artists in Reykjavík, Iceland––in an art show curated by California-based artist, Brian Scott Campbell whose apartment I once subleted in Brooklyn. Funny world. If you’re in Reykjavík, and I know you are, check out the Harbinger Project Space at Freyjugata 1.
ADDENDUM: I myself am not in Iceland. Do not look for me there. My poems went ahead, while I remained in Swampland, aka Houston, Texas, USA.
